Hope you’ve had a lovely weekend pretties, and we definitely hope you thanked your daddy for everything he does for you. Let’s face it, we’d be nothing without them.

Since it’s Monday, and we all need a little kick to get us going, we thought we’d give you a list of essentials for the beginning of the week, or any day for that matter.

The Preppy’s Top 5 Monday Essentials:

1. A Reason to Wake Up

Obviously we all wish we could stay in bed (beauty rest is super important) but we’re busy and have plenty of important things to do! So what better way to wake up than to a great alarm clock? The Philips Wake-Up Light collection is clinically proven to improve your waking up experience. 30 minutes before your alarm goes off, the light gradually increases, simulating a sunrise. You can choose a noise to wake up to such as birds chirping.

2. The Cutest Slippers

Step out of bed and into a pair of adorable slippers (bonus points if they’re monogrammed)! We love these pink, customizable waffle slippers from Choose your font, color, and bow detail!

3. A Nice Cup of Tea

Tea is one of the best things you can put into your body. It contains countless amino acids, and has a ton of health benefits such as lowering cholesterol, and of course hydration. Basically nothing makes us feel better than a fresh spritz of perfume! Our favorite right now is Ralph Lauren Pink from the Big Pony collection. It’s sweet and soft, not overpowering.
